Konnichiwa! 

My name is KB with passport number ******. I am an Examinee. I took the 2017 Philippine Licensure Exam. Before officially becoming licensed, I will have to take the Oath and sign the Roll next year after the official release of the 2017 exam passers. To take the Oath and sign the Roll, I will have to be physically present here in the Republic of the Philippines. This shall guarantee that I will be returning here in the Philippines. I am writing this letter also to explain why I do not have an Income Tax Return. After graduating in College, I went straight to study in another School for another degree. I was never employed by any company which was the reason why I am excluded from the legal requirement of filing an Income Tax Return. In lieu of the Income Tax Return, I submitted other supporting documents.

I is my childhood dream to visit Japan. I want to experience its rich culture. I would love to ride the very famous Bullet Train. I always dream of visiting Japan Disneyland. And be a witness to it amazing beauty.

How I got my Japan Tourist Visa - 2018 post

 

My Dream Land

Japan is a very beautiful country. Hosting a Disneyland which both adults and children get excited about. Ride the Bullet Train. Oversee Tokyo area via the Sky Tree. Visit the famous Sensoji Temple in Asakusa. You will not run out of things to do.With Japanese people treating you with utmost respect regardless of your financial status back home. Every local you get to interact with bows to you as a sign of their respect and gratefulness. I could actually go on and write everything I love about Japan in this blog but I'd rather have a separate blog for that so we could focus on the purpose of this blog which is to give you guide on how to prepare for your japan Visa Application.

Being a Filipino Passport holder, we think that applying for a Japan visa could be intimidating- especially for those who are unemployed. But now that Japan have relaxed its rules on Visa grant to Filipinos, it is the right time to try and apply for that longed for Japan Visa- you pretty much have a good chance at this time.
There are several types of Japan visa. It is important to determine which one you will be needing which would depend on your travel purpose. But for the purpose of this blog, I will be focusing on Japan Tourist Visa without sponsor- which I had a first hand experience applying for.

Let us start.

Japan Tourist Visa

First. Check your passport validity. Your passport must be valid atleast six (6) months prior to your intended travel date.

Second. Prepare the requirements. The following documents are what I submitted when I applied for a Japan Tourist Visa in December 2017:

1. Philippine Passport
2. Accomplished Visa Application Form
3. Original Birth Certificate
4. Daily Schedule in Japan. Click here to view a sample.
5. Original Bank Certificate
6. Copy of my Credit Card Statement for the last three months
7. Roundtrip Airline Ticket. This is not required but I still included it since I got it several months before my intended travel date and I think it will help somehow.
8. A copy of my school ID
9. A copy of my official enrollment receipt to a Review Center
10. A copy of my official Review Center ID
11. A copy of my official graduation fee payment receipt
12. A copy of my official 2017 Examination Fee payment receipt
    
    I did not submit an ITR because I am not employed. I just graduated and finished taking a licensure exam. What I did was I also submitted a cover letter explaining why I did not submit an ITR. Click here to see a sample of my cover letter.
    
    Third. Submit the requirement to an accredited Travel Agency. After gathering and preparing all my requirements, I proceeded to decide to which Accredited Travel Agency should submit my application to. Then I chose Reli Tours SM Southmall. I paid around 900 pesos for the processing of my Japan Toursist Visa(without a Japanese sponsor) Application. A different rate is imposed for application with a Japanese sponsor.
    
    After 6 days I received a text message saying my passport may now be claimed at Reli Tours SM Southmall.  The message also says that the Travel Agency cannot will not disclose the result of the application via text message. It took 6 days before the result came out because of one Regular Holiday and the weekend -Saturday and Sunday. It actually took only three (3) working days for my application to be processed. The next day, I went to Reli Tours Southmall to claim my passport. Yes, I was granted a Japan Tourist Visa. 15 days stay. Single entry. You could be too. Take courage and gather all the requirements needed. Have a wonderful stay in Japan!

Penshoppe kind of broke the hearts of Mario Maurer fans!

My friends and I arrived at Smx, quarter to 6. And yeah! Long line, there is. As we fall in line, some of the marshalls are talking about the seating capacity of hall 2(The venue of Penshoppe show). They were like swearing that we are not going to fit in the hall.
The hall opened like past 8. Late, as stated in the invites 7:30. Not yet half of the attendees who were in queu got inside the hall when the marshalls told the other attendees (including me)still rushing to get inside, that the hall is almost full. We ended up locked up outside the hall. There's a big screen outside the hall wherein what's going inside is being played. Everytime the door opens, people screams "BOOOO". Others are saying they're gonna sue penshoppe, they're not gonna buy any penshoppe products for the rest of their lives, others tore their invites. But when everyone outside spotted Mario Maurer onscreen walking in the runway, the crowd gone crazy, this is the only time that we are screaming cheer. There's even one guy who tried to get inside, tried to fool the guards that he's(a gay) from inside and he just went outside, but it didn't work as it's obviously not true.
It's sad that Penshoppe or anyone from their management did not apologize personally(or on the spot ). We were like left hanging.
Penshoppe tweeted that they are preparing something for those who were not able to get inside the hall last night. This is the least they could do. And the least good to hear.

Oh! We also get to see Angel Locsin and Phil upclose. 

Glorietta, rush!

Last saturday(oct. 22), I went to Glorietta with my friend Bridget to buy P1000 worth of Penshoppe goodies in their branch there. Our main purpose for buying Penshoppe goodies is to get 2 invites for their show on October 29 for the Philippine Fashion Week.

No pain, No gain!

Been job hunting for my OJT requirement! Like most of the students enrolled in practicum, I want to work in the Metro, I would really love to explore and meet new group of people.
Searched online for the companies looking for OJT applicants. Then, submitted my resume online. FACT: I GOT NO REPLY FROM ALL THE COMPANIES WITH OJT VACANCIES I APPLIED FOR, ONLINE. There's atleast one company who viewed my resume in jobstreet, twice.
The thought that 2nd semester is fast approaching makes me GGGGOOOO KUUHRRRAAAZZZYYY! :| So I did the usual job hunting, Walk In.
I guess the hardest part of job hunting is the "WALKING" part. After a long walk, I ended up having to ride a jeepney, still. I was like, WHHUUUTTTT? But, all in all I'm happy to experience this job hunting life. Made me feel like I've grown so much that I was actually able to go to makati to apply for ojt in different companies all by myself, learned so much in just a week. FACT: I did get help from my friends, family, and professors. :)
I was hired yesterday by a manufacturing company, with their office located at Gil Puyat Avenue, Makati City. Work starts on November 4, friday.
